Pre Charged / Stay Charged Batteries

Stay-charged rechargeable batteries (also known as low self-discharge batteries) hold their charge much more effectively when not in use compared to regular NiMH rechargeable batteries. The benefit of stay-charged rechargeable batteries for everyday devices (those that don’t drain the batteries completely in a short period of time) is that they retain their power when not in use and so will be ready to use and not require recharging as often. For devices such as smoke alarms, torches, or devices that are used a little less frequently but need a charge on demand, stay-charged batteries are an excellent option.
